About

Edwina was born in a tiny town in South Albania, called "Memaliaj" which just got added on Google Maps (yey!).

Due to the civil war in 1997, Edwina's family took refuge in Greece. In Athens, the land of drama, she discovered her urge to perform and her need to have a voice. Edwina started performing on stage at the age of 16.

 

After moving to the States, she received her degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she combined her passion for Forensic Psychology and Theater Arts. She also attended the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she graduated from the summer conservatory. 

 

Among other places, Edwina has also lived in Italy, which makes Italian the fourth language she speaks fluently after Albanian, Greek and English. And that is how she got that unidentifiable accent that makes every casting director ask "That was really great, but can you do it with an American accent?" (the answer is yes btw).

 

If she is not in front of a camera, she is either riding the most beautiful red bike you've ever seen in New York (she WILL show you pictures) or cheering for her friends at open mics.
